unfortunately all silver will tarnish over time, it's just in its nature! the best way to keep it in super shiny condition? Wear it! By wearing your jewellery, your skin is constantly wearing away the layer which would eventually tarnish.
In order to care for your pieces, all metal jewellery will come with a complementary polishing cloth, which should be used regularly to keep that silver extra shiny! To help prevent tarnishing, it is advised to keep your jewellery away from harsh chemical, creams, perfume, chlorine etc...make sure you remove any jewellery before showering, swimming, washing up etc...
As for gemstones, they are delicate! Please take care when handling them! Keep them dry and away from chemicals, creams, chlorine etc...
how long will postage take?
as each piece is made to order and handmade, please allow 2-3 weeks for making. Standard shipping is 2nd class signed for, insured is 1st class special delivery. uk orders should arrive 1-2 business days after your order has been dispatched. International orders can take up to 2 weeks. Tracking numbers can be provided when requested.
why are there different postage options?
if standard shipping is selected at the checkout (£4.50 UK) your item(s) will be posted via second class signed for and will NOT be insured
if express shipping (insured) is selected at the checkout (£8 UK) your item(s) will be sent out via first class, tracked and signed for and WILL be insured for up to £500.
if Free Collection is selected, your order will be ready to collect when you receive the ‘order dispatched’ email. The collection address is: The Mascot Bakery, 27 William Street, Herne Bay, Kent, CT65EG. (Rabbitbonesx does not currently have a shop, so this is the next best thing!)
PLEASE NOTE: once your gems have left Rabbitbonesx and are in the hands of the Royal Mail, it is no longer Rabbitbonesx responsibility if they get lost, stolen or damaged in the postal system (touch wood this has not happened to date!) hence the option for insured shipping. Tracking numbers and proof of postage will always be available upon request. PLEASE triple check your address before fulfilling your order!

my piece of jewellery has turned my finger green!
as with all metals, sterling silver reacts differently with each individual. The green is simply a chemical reaction! A reaction can occur if the ring is exposed to different creams, chemicals etc..
can I get a refund?
unless you have ordered a one-off piece, all jewellery is made to order and customised to fit each individual. This means made to order rings are non-refundable. Earrings, due to hygiene reasons, are also on-refundable. Ordered the wrong size? Please email: email@example.com for resize options.
